Bavla is a neighbourhood in south Ahmedabad, in Gujarat. It is surrounded by areas such as Nana Chiloda, Nava Naroda, Makarba, Thaltek and Vatva. It is known for its mechanised rice mills and has emerged as a business district. The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is 44.8 kilometres from here and could be reached through the NH 8A.
